Tom Harrison was raised in Springhill, Tennessee and attended Tennessee Tech where
he graduated with a degree in Education.  After graduating, he taught in the Chattanooga
City Schools for five years.  On December 26, 1986 he married his wife, Beverly, and soon
after enrolled in the East Tennessee School of Preaching.  Upon graduation, he and
Beverly spent two years in New Zealand as missionaries.  The Harrison's have two girls,
Rachel (15) and Grace (12).  He has preached all over the Tennessee and Georgia area
and we were so blessed to have him accept the position of pulpit minister here at Central
the first part of October, 2004.
Tom does a weekly radio spot on W C L E 104.1 FM that airs each Sunday morning at 8:00
a.m.  He is also the coordinator for "Family Matters", a combined youth and family retreat,
that takes place each third weekend in February in Pigeon Forge.  Tom has also been a
regular speaker on "Know Your Bible" in the past and at the present time he and David are
involved with other ministers in the area in producing "Let Us Reason Together" that airs
each Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.  (See our televison link!)
Tom encourages all to e-mail him should they need him in any way.
David Langley grew up in Columbia, Tennessee where he attended the Greymere Church
of Christ with his family (his father is an elder there).  He is an Honors Graduate from
Columbia Academy and is a 2002 Honors Graduate from Freed Hardeman University with
a degree in Bible.  While attending college, David served three years as the summer
youth minister for the Dayton Church of Christ and he has been a camp counselor at the
Fall Creek Falls Bible Camp.  For the past three years, David has worked full-time as an
English Teacher in China.   He married his wife, YaNing in 2004 and they began their
work here at Central on April 18, 2005.  He is now our Youth & Family Minister and we are
so proud to have him as a part of our Christian family.
If you have any questions you would like to ask David, just e-mail him at the link above.
"How then shall they call upon Him in whom they have not believed?  And how shall they believe in
Him whom they have not heard?  And how shall they hear without a preacher?
(Romans 10: 14)
We want to welcome Todd, Jeana, Joshua, Abby, and Titus O'Donnell each summer.  Todd William O’
Donnell was born in Wellington, New Zealand.  His earlier education consists of  Brooklyn School, Wellington
College, and Horowhenua College.  In 1992, he left New Zealand to attend the East Tennessee School of
Preaching and Missions where he graduated in 1994.  From July 1994 through April 1995, Todd worked with
the Central Church of Christ in Cleveland, Tennessee.
On January 28, 1995, he married Jeana Danyell Rader.  They now have three children:  Joshua, Abby,
and Titus.  Todd and Jeana have worked with the Palmerston North Church of Christ, Wellington Church of
Christ, and the Foxton church of Christ all in New Zealand.  Todd has been involved in many New Zealand
Campaigns for Christ which are intensive one week or two week door-knocking campaigns.  There is a high
emphasis on outreach in New Zealand among members of the Lord’s church.  Many people are Atheist,
Agnostic, or Skeptical yet there is still a place where people with good hearts can be found.
For the months of May, June, July 2007 he has worked with the Central church of Christ primarily
focusing on evangelism.  He and several members have done local door-knocking, shared the gospel with
many people in addition to conducting several home bible studies, and participated in two door-knocking
campaigns (Hawesville, KY and De Land, FL).
Future plans are to be back in Cleveland next summer the Lord willing. The main focus of the 2008 visit
will be a local door-knocking campaign.  From June 8th to June 15th, 2008, we will be reaching out to the city
of Cleveland, TN with the good news.  Make plans to come and participate in this effort.  Contact the office
here at Central for further information.
