What we Value as a Church Family
At Central, we value and uphold the two greatest commandments that Christ gives us. Matthew 22.37-49 "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"
We strive to allow our love for God and others to be the driving force behind our ministries, Worship, and relationships with one another. We do not claim to be perfect; however, we serve the perfect Savior whose life, sacrifice, and love serve as our example.
We desire to be a people whose love reflects the kingdom of Heaven in every way. So, when you come to Central on Sunday, you'll meet some of the most incredible people in Cleveland. They are people just like you. Some will be in suits, and some will be in jeans, but we will all worship our God together.

Worshipping With Us
Our Worship is simple yet reverent. We believe our time together should be dual-focused - on God and one another. We typically start with announcements that help our members stay informed of current events and any need to be met. Then we stand as God's Word is read to us and led in prayer.
You'll notice something that often sets us apart from other churches; we don't have a big production on stage. You won't see any instruments or bands, just one of our song leaders leading us as we speak songs of praise to our God for who he is and all he has done. It is a time of praise and encouragement for one another as we hear one another's voices in harmony.
We will also have a time of communion. We do this every first day of the week as the early church did. You'll notice communion packs on the tables as you enter the building. Feel free to get your communion as you come in. During communion, we reflect on what Jesus did for us through his ministry, the cross, and resurrection. We remember that he gave his body for us and that his blood continually cleanses us from our sins. It is a time to re-focus my life on living for God.
We will also hear a message from the Bible that will help us in our daily life. We readily admit that we all fall short of what God wants from us, so these weekly reminders help us stay strong in our faith and help us remember the Spirit of God in us that fights for us.
In everything, we strive to be transformational in our daily growth, sacred in our Worship, authentic in our relationships and uphold our love for God and others.
